The brs bashers come from behind to beat the Estee Lauder A Team, 20-19

The brs bashers (1-10) trailed by six in the second, but the brs bashers recovered thanks to a key single in the seventh inning from Gerardo Merua to pull out a 20-19 win in seven innings over the Estee Lauder A Team (6-9) at Clarissa Drive Field on Thursday.

With the score tied at 19 in the seventh inning, Merua came to the plate and singled, bringing home Dan Henry.

Merua racked up four RBIs on four hits for the brs bashers. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fourth, fifth, and seventh innings.

The two teams combined for 39 runs and 47 hits, including zero extra base hits.

Henry racked up three RBIs on four hits for the brs bashers. He singled in the first, third, and fourth innings and tripled in the seventh inning.

Lionel Reyes racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Estee Lauder A Team. He singled in the first, second, and fifth innings.

John Barrigan recorded the win for the brs bashers even though he allowed 19 runs over seven innings. He struck out one, walked 13 and surrendered 18 hits.

Matt Jano couldn't get it done on the hill for the Estee Lauder A Team, taking a loss. He allowed 20 runs in 6 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out none.

The brs bashers hammered the Estee Lauder A Team pitching as eight hitters had a field day, combining for 26 hits, 17 RBIs and 18 runs scored.
