The Rough Riders (17-6) jumped on the renegades (goldsborough (7-12) early on their way to a 6-2 win on Saturday at Tanglewood in seven innings, scoring three runs in the first inning.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the first, with four lead changes.

Rob Cambell racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Rough Riders. He doubled in the first inning and homered in the third inning.

Joe Passanante recorded his fourth win of the year for the Rough Riders. He allowed two runs over seven innings. He struck out none, walked three and surrendered 10 hits.

Bobby Villand ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked one and struck out none.
