An exceptional effort by Anthony Ambrazzo lifted the BALLS DEEP (8-3) to a 20-8 win in five innings over the Sleestacks (8-5) on Friday at Veterans.

Ambrazzo racked up 10 RBIs on three hits for the BALLS DEEP. He homered in the second and third innings and doubled in the fifth inning.

The two teams combined for 28 runs and 40 hits, including zero extra base hits.

Eleven runs in the opening three innings allowed the BALLS DEEP to easily put away the Sleestacks. An RBI single by JC Hood in the first inning and a fielder's choice, a three-run home run by Ambrazzo, and a two-run home run by Danny Tew during the second inning supplied the early offense for the BALLS DEEP.

The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to four lead changes in the game.

The BALLS DEEP hammered the Sleestacks pitching as eight hitters had a field day, combining for 20 hits, 18 RBIs and 19 runs scored.
