The TFA Comets (5-7) blew out the Cougar Bait (4-8) 17-2 on Friday at Granny Road after pouring on 12 runs in the fourth inning.
Tony Deangelo racked up four RBIs on two hits for the TFA Comets. He singled in the fourth inning and tripled in the fourth inning.
Dave Cuevas had a hot bat for the Cougar Bait. Cuevas went 2-2 and scored one run. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the third inning.
Bob Giordano got the win, running his season record to 3-4. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.
Dan Hennessy was charged with his sixth loss of the year. He allowed 17 runs in four innings, walked eight and struck out none.
The TFA Comets hammered the Cougar Bait pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 11 hits, 14 RBIs and 10 runs scored.
