The Nathletes Tuesday (12-0) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the FPI (4-8), recording a 13-7 victory on Tuesday at East Islip Marina Field #4.

Ten runs in the first three innings allowed the Nathletes Tuesday to put the game away early.

An RBI triple by John Klein and an RBI double by Mike Klein in the first inning and an RBI single by Justin Reagan and an RBI single by Klein during the second inning helped the Nathletes Tuesday put some runs on the board early.

Klein racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Nathletes Tuesday.

Kris Franzese racked up two RBIs on two hits for the FPI. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Tim Henneborn recorded his sixth win for the Nathletes Tuesday even though he allowed seven runs over seven innings. Henneborn struck out none, walked five and gave up 13 hits.

Chuck couldn't get it done on the mound for the FPI, taking a loss. He allowed 13 runs in six innings, walked three and struck out none.

The Nathletes Tuesday easily handled the FPI pitching as seven hitters combined for 17 hits, 12 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
