Jordan Bauer clubbed two home runs to carry the Thunder (schaefer (11-2) to a 29-16 win over the Diamond Dawgs (9-4) at Shorefront Park in six innings.

Bauer racked up seven RBIs on four hits for the Thunder (schaefer. He homered in the fourth and fifth innings and singled in the third and sixth innings.

The two teams combined for 45 runs and 56 hits, including zero extra base hits.

The Thunder (schaefer blew out the Diamond Dawgs thanks to 33 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Thunder (schaefer scored six runs in the sixth on a two-run home run by Shawn McDonnell, an RBI single by Bauer, , a fielder's choice, and an RBI single by Ed Schaefer.

The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to six lead changes in the game.

Joe Guido recorded his second win for the Thunder (schaefer even though he allowed 16 runs over six innings. Guido struck out none, walked three and gave up 23 hits.

James Spera ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed 29 runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked five and struck out two.
