The Buckleys (7-6) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 5-4 to the F-14 (7-6) on Sunday.

While the Buckleys led until the seventh inning, the F-14 worked their way back and took the lead on an RBI double by Dennis PopickSr.

The F-14 were led by a flawless day at the dish by PopickSr, who went 4-4 against the Buckleys' pitching. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings and doubled in the seventh inning.

Jay Koncelik racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Buckleys. He singled in the second, third, and seventh innings.

Lenny Thaw recorded his sixth win of the year for the F-14. He allowed four runs over seven innings. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered 12 hits.

Rich Bornsehein couldn't get it done on the bump for the Buckleys, taking a loss. He lasted just 6 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
