A 12-run explosion in the second inning led the Rocksteady (12-1) to a 20-2 win in four innings over the Team Ram Rod at Airport #1 on Saturday.
Kevin Hogan racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Rocksteady. He singled in the second inning and homered in the third inning.
Jay Reany recorded his eighth win of the year for the Rocksteady. He allowed two runs over four innings. He struck out none, walked six and surrendered five hits.
Rich Bornschein was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He allowed 20 runs in four innings, walked two and struck out none.
The Rocksteady easily handled the Team Ram Rod (5-10) pitching as eight hitters combined for 17 hits, 17 RBIs and 14 runs scored.
