The Trojans (9-2) weren't able to come back from the big hole they dug themselves into against the Gaza Strip Club (8-3), and the Trojans lost 9-7 to the Gaza Strip Club after falling behind by five runs in the fifth inning.

The Trojans scored three runs in the sixth on a sacrifice fly by Daniel Fain. Despite their efforts, the Trojans couldn't get over the hump.

Anthony Basile had a hot bat for the Gaza Strip Club. Basile went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He tripled in the third inning and singled in the first and fourth innings.

Dan Mahoney boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the Trojans. He singled in the first, third, and seventh innings.

Anthony Alonzo got his first win for the Gaza Strip Club despite allowing seven runs over seven innings. He struck out one, walked three and surrendered 14 hits.

Rich V ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in seven innings, walked none and struck out none.
