The LI Storm CO-ED one (10-0) shut the door early on the Rack and Sacks (0-11), capturing a 16-0 victory on Monday at East Islip Marina Field #1.

With 11 runs in the first three innings, the LI Storm CO-ED one left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

An RBI triple by Tonnyanne Capra, an RBI single by Tim Flanagan, an RBI single by Sean Becoff, and an RBI single by Lyndsay Keagan in the first inning and , a home run by Mike Decken, and a solo home run by Rob Gerdts during the second inning helped the LI Storm CO-ED one put some runs on the board early.

Gerdts had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits.

The LI Storm CO-ED one's Ian Walsh kept the Rack and Sacks off the scoreboard for all five innings he was on the hill. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on four hits while striking out two.

Vinny Borgo took the loss for the Rack and Sacks. He allowed 16 runs in five innings, walked two and struck out one.
