An exceptional effort by Mike Medermot lifted the Changing Times Pub (7-4) to a 24-4 win in three innings over the The Iron Bulls (4-6) on Sunday at East Islip Marina #1.

Medermot racked up eight RBIs on four hits for the Changing Times Pub. He tripled in the first inning, homered in the second inning, and doubled in the second and third innings.

A solo home run by Brett Iavarone, an RBI single by Val Rigg, and a two-run triple by Dan Madermott during the first inning and a home run by Medermot, an RBI single by Lyndsay Strubeck, an RBI single by Adam Schumaker, a groundout by Iavarone, and a two-run double by Medermot in the second inning supplied the early offense for the Changing Times Pub.

Kristen Johnson recorded his second win of the year for the Changing Times Pub. He allowed four runs over three innings. He struck out none, walked two and surrendered seven hits.

Mike Rocchio ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed 24 runs in three innings, walked two and struck out one.
