The Ghost Whipes (9-2) outlasted the Trojans (13-4) on Wednesday after six lead changes, squeaking out a 5-3 win at Broadway Ave.

Tom Byrne went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Ghost Whipes. He singled in the second, fourth, and sixth innings.

Michael Herzhauser improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Ghost Whipes. He allowed three runs over seven innings. Herzhauser struck out none, walked one and gave up eight hits.

John W ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
