Friday was a great day for Scott Hodsdon, as Hodsdon struck out eight batters to carry the El Paso Diablos (46-51) to a 13-1 victory over the Sioux Falls Pheasants (43-54) at Cohen Stadium.

Everything was working at the plate for the the El Paso Diablos in the eighth. In the inning the El Paso Diablos scored eight runs.

Maikol Gonzalez racked up three RBIs on four hits for the El Paso Diablos. He doubled in the eighth inning and singled in the first, fourth, and eighth innings.

Mitchell Clegg (9-6) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
