The Manitoba (3-1) and the Quebec (2-2) passed the lead back and forth five times on Saturday at BBoys Vaughan Grove one, but in the end the Manitoba pulled out a 9-4 win in seven innings over the Quebec.

Christian Peters racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Manitoba. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the second and third innings.

Thomas Morissette reached base three times in the game for the Quebec. He singled in the fifth innings.

Chase Dreger recorded his first win of the year for the Manitoba. He allowed four runs over 6 2/3 innings. He struck out seven, walked four and surrendered four hits.

Samuel Lizotte ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked five, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
