The New Brunswick (1-3) outlasted the Nova Scotia (0-4) on Saturday after seven lead changes, squeaking out a 6-5 win at BBoys Vaughan Grove two.

The New Brunswick came out swinging, scoring three runs in the first inning to jump ahead of the Nova Scotia early.

Brad Boulter put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the New Brunswick. He doubled in the first and fifth innings and singled in the seventh innings.

Dallas Moore improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the New Brunswick. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Jim Prescott (0-1) took the loss for the Nova Scotia. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed one run.

The New Brunswick were sparked by Brett Brittany and Boulter, who teamed up for four hits and two RBIs.
