The Lakeshore Chinooks (35-35) were never able to get over the hump and get over their troubles against the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters (27-42) on Sunday, as the Lakeshore Chinooks fell 4-3 at Witter Field after falling behind by three runs in the second inning.

The Lakeshore Chinooks scored two runs in the sixth on a two-run home run by Ryan Krill. Despite their efforts, the Lakeshore Chinooks couldn't finish the comeback.

Cole Cefalu racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters. He singled in the second and eighth innings.

The Lakeshore Chinooks couldn't get anything going as long as Kenny Towns was pitching. The Lakeshore Chinooks managed just two hits off of Towns, who allowed two earned runs, walked two and struck out one during his six innings of work.

Krill racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Lakeshore Chinooks. He homered in the sixth inning.

Nick Soldano was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
