The Green Bay Bullfrogs (34-36) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the La Crosse Loggers, recording a 12-3 victory on Sunday at Joannes Stadium.

With nine runs in the first three innings, the Green Bay Bullfrogs left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

A hit by pitch, a two-run single by Jason McMurray, a two-run double by Alex Abrams, an RBI single by Dan Douglas, a fielder's choice, and a two-run single by Billy Moon during the first inning supplied the early offense for the Green Bay Bullfrogs.

The Green Bay Bullfrogs got their bats going early, scoring nine runs in the first inning to pull ahead of the La Crosse Loggers (49-21).

Harry Stanwyck picked up the win for the Green Bay Bullfrogs. Stanwyck pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk while striking out five.

Steven Pallares (1-1) took the loss for the La Crosse Loggers. He allowed eight runs in one-third of an inning, walked four and struck out one.

The Green Bay Bullfrogs' Moon, McMurray and Abrams combined for eight hits and seven RBIs.
