The Duluth Huskies (38-31) took down the Alexandria Beetles (32-37) 14-2 on Saturday at Wade Stadium after slamming the Alexandria Beetles with nine runs in the fourth inning.
Max Duval racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Duluth Huskies. He singled in the second and fourth innings and homered in the eighth inning.
The Alexandria Beetles couldn't get anything going so long as Max MacNabb was on the hill. MacNabb gave up just three hits, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out five during his six innings of work.
Mitchell Babb couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Alexandria Beetles, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked two and struck out two.
The Duluth Huskies pounded the Alexandria Beetles pitching, as seven hitters combined for 15 hits, 11 RBIs and 12 runs scored.
