The Duluth Huskies blew out the Thunder Bay Border Cats thanks to 17 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Duluth Huskies scored four runs in the fourth on a two-run double by Wass, an RBI double by Treysen Vavra, and a sacrifice fly by Max Duval.
Jonathon Meyer's 11 strikeouts were enough to push the Duluth Huskies past the Thunder Bay Border Cats. Meyer allowed two earned runs, five hits and two walks over seven innings.
Patrick Gallagher racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Thunder Bay Border Cats. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the seventh inning.
Blake Fonfara ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
