The Rochester Honkers (27-40) scored three runs in the ninth to cap an 11-3 win over the Alexandria Beetles (31-36) on Thursday.

Justin Parr racked up four RBIs on four hits for the Rochester Honkers. He homered in the third inning, singled in the first and seventh innings, and doubled in the ninth inning.

The Rochester Honkers got the win thanks in large part to Mason Pingel's dominant, nine-strikeout performance. Pingel allowed three earned runs on six hits and two walks over eight innings.

Ben Moore racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Alexandria Beetles. He homered in the first inning.

Ali Simpson (2-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in seven innings, walked four and struck out four.
