Danny Sullivan kept the Lakeshore Chinooks (34-34) off the board during his six innings of work and the Madison Mallards (38-30) beat the Lakeshore Chinooks, 3-0.

Sullivan struck out nine and allowed one walk and three hits.

The Madison Mallards were led by a flawless day at the dish by Jack Livingston, who went 2-2 against the Lakeshore Chinooks' pitching. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Tim Verthien couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Lakeshore Chinooks, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
