The Mankato MoonDogs (40-26) and the Willmar Stingers (39-27) passed the lead back and forth five times on Wednesday at Franklin Rogers Park, but in the end the Mankato MoonDogs pulled out a 10-5 win over the Willmar Stingers.
Chase Simpson racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Mankato MoonDogs. He singled in the first and second innings and homered in the eighth inning.
Trevor Belicek looked sharp on the mound. Belicek held the Willmar Stingers hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five.

Jonathon Flinn ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
