Matt Busch was cold coming off the bench, but Busch warmed up quickly as Busch stroked a key pinch-hit single in the four to lead the Thunder Bay Border Cats (30-35) to a 10-5 win over the Rochester Honkers (26-39) on Monday at Mayo Field.

With the score tied at three, Busch came to the plate and singled.

Jerrick Suiter racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Thunder Bay Border Cats. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

Justin Parr racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Rochester Honkers. He homered in the third inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Garrett Hughes recorded his third win of the year for the Thunder Bay Border Cats. He allowed four runs over six innings. Hughes struck out four, walked one and gave up five hits.

Jared Miller (3-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked one and struck out one.
