The Duluth Huskies' late runs seal 17-6 blowout over the Mankato MoonDogs

The Duluth Huskies (35-29) took home a 17-6 victory over the Mankato MoonDogs (39-25) on Monday at Franklin Rogers Park, fueled by eight runs in the eighth inning.

James Ramsay had two extra-base hits for the Duluth Huskies. He tripled in the third inning, doubled in the fifth inning, and singled in the eighth and ninth innings.

Danny Murphy boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the Mankato MoonDogs. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fourth and eighth innings.

Max MacNabb got the win, running his season record to 4-3. He allowed four runs over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out five, walked four and surrendered four hits.

Matt Borens couldn't get it done on the bump for the Mankato MoonDogs, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked none and struck out one.

The Duluth Huskies easily handled the Mankato MoonDogs pitching as six hitters combined for 16 hits, 10 RBIs and 13 runs scored.
