After four lead changes in Sunday's game at Carson Park, the La Crosse Loggers (43-20) finally pulled out a 8-4 win over the Eau Claire Express (23-40).

Matt Chapman racked up three RBIs on two hits for the La Crosse Loggers. He homered in the second inning and singled in the sixth inning.

The Eau Claire Express couldn't get anything going as long as Matt Levert was on the mound. Levert held the Eau Claire Express hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three.

Casey Gillaspie did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Eau Claire Express, reaching base two times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the first inning.

James Guillen improved to 5-2 on the year by picking up the win for the La Crosse Loggers. He allowed four runs over five innings. He struck out two, walked four and surrendered five hits.

Kye Winter (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked five and struck out six.
