The Battle Creek Bombers (23-38) and the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters (23-38) exchanged the lead four times on Friday, but the Battle Creek Bombers ended up on top with a 5-4 win over the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters.

The Battle Creek Bombers were led by Sikes Orvis's hitting. Orvis went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the second inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Alex Tukey put together a nice outing. Tukey held the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five.

Brandon Downes racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters. He homered in the first inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Chad Jasman got the win, running his season record to 4-0. He allowed one run over 1 1/3 innings. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered two hits.

Ronnie Muck was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
