The Willmar Stingers (38-25) took the last of five lead changes in a back-and-forth affair against the Duluth Huskies (34-29), securing a 7-4 victory on Friday at Bill Taunton Stadium.

Mitch Rowan went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for the Willmar Stingers. He singled in the first innings and doubled in the third inning.

Scott Lieser got the win, running his season record to 7-1. He allowed four runs over six innings. Lieser struck out six, walked one and gave up nine hits.

Evan Geist (4-6) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked six and struck out one.
