The Duluth Huskies defeat the Waterloo Bucks after late game single, 5-3

After four lead changes in Tuesday's game at Wade Stadium, the Duluth Huskies (34-27) finally pulled out a 5-3 win over the Waterloo Bucks (31-30).

Wade Wass reached base two times in the game for the Duluth Huskies. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the eighth inning.

Jonathon Meyer baffled the Waterloo Bucks, striking out six batters. Meyer allowed one earned run on five hits and no walks over six innings.

Nathan Garza improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Duluth Huskies. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Chris Dunn couldn't get it done on the bump for the Waterloo Bucks, taking a loss. He lasted just two innings, walked three, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
