The bats were busy at Wade Stadium on Monday, and when the dust cleared the Waterloo Bucks (30-28) had a 10-8 win over the Duluth Huskies (32-26).

The Waterloo Bucks would not relinquish the lead as the Duluth Huskies were unable to weather a four-run fourth inning deficit.
The Duluth Huskies scored on an error and a two-run home run by Treysen Vavra in the fourth inning, an RBI double by Vavra in the sixth inning, and a groundout by Max Duval in the ninth inning. Despite their efforts, the Duluth Huskies couldn't finish the comeback.
Connor McClain did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Waterloo Bucks, reaching base four times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the second and eighth innings.
Michael Edlefsen recorded his first win of the year for the Waterloo Bucks. He allowed four runs over 3 1/3 innings. Edlefsen struck out three, walked three and gave up four hits.
Evan Geist couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Duluth Huskies, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in 1 1/3 innings, walked two and struck out one.
