The St. Cloud Rox (20-37) weren't able to overcome the big hole they dug themselves into against the Willmar Stingers (33-24), and the St. Cloud Rox lost 7-5 to the Willmar Stingers after falling behind by four runs in the ninth inning.

The St. Cloud Rox scored two runs in the ninth on an RBI double by Phil Imholte and a fielder's choice. Unfortunately, the St. Cloud Rox weren't able to take the lead back.

Brennan Moore got a hit in each of his four at bats. He singled in the third, fourth, and sixth innings and homered in the ninth inning.

Imholte racked up three RBIs on two hits for the St. Cloud Rox. He homered in the third inning and doubled in the ninth innings.

Michael Hahn improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Willmar Stingers. He allowed two runs over five innings. Hahn struck out three, walked five and gave up three hits.

Billy Soule ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out seven, and allowed five runs.

The Willmar Stingers' Moore, Dillon Haupt, Forrestt Allday and Mitch Rowan combined for nine hits and six RBIs.
