Joe Serrano drove in the winning run to give the Wisconsin Woodchucks (36-20) the lead in the sixth inning, as the Wisconsin Woodchucks hung on to beat the Battle Creek Bombers (20-36) 4-3 on Sunday.

After Brendon Hayden singled, Serrano came to the plate with two outs in the sixth and doubled, scoring Hayden.

Madison Carter led the Wisconsin Woodchucks' offensive threat, as he got on base two times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the first inning.

Brett Higginbotham looked sharp on the mound. The Battle Creek Bombers managed just one hit off of Higginbotham, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

Patrick Borlik (0-2) took the loss for the Battle Creek Bombers. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
