The Wisconsin Woodchucks hang on against the Green Bay Bullfrogs, 9-7

The Green Bay Bullfrogs (28-27) were never able to get over the hump and overcome their troubles against the Wisconsin Woodchucks (35-20) on Saturday, as the Green Bay Bullfrogs fell 9-7 at Athletic Park after falling behind by eight runs in the fourth inning.

The Green Bay Bullfrogs scored on and a fielder's choice in the fifth inning, an RBI double by Taylor Petersen, an RBI single by Mac Acker, and a two-run home run by Alex Abrams in the seventh inning, and a solo home run by Justin Seager in the eighth inning. Despite their efforts, the Green Bay Bullfrogs couldn't get over the hump.

Brendon Hayden racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Wisconsin Woodchucks. He homered in the first inning and singled in the third inning.

The Green Bay Bullfrogs couldn't get anything going so long as Austin Stadler was on the hill. The Green Bay Bullfrogs managed just two hits off of Stadler, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out six during his three innings of work.

Seager reached base three times in the game for the Green Bay Bullfrogs. He scored two runs and had one RBI.

Ben Burke recorded his second win of the year for the Wisconsin Woodchucks. He allowed two runs over three innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered three hits.

Zak Hermans was charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked two and struck out three.
