Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Saturday as the Battle Creek Bombers (20-35) outscored the La Crosse Loggers (37-18) 13-8.

Chris Sujka put himself in scoring position with three extra-base hits for the Battle Creek Bombers. He homered in the fifth inning and doubled in the second and ninth innings.
Despite the loss, the La Crosse Loggers' Matt Levert dominated the Battle Creek Bombers' batters, giving up three runs and striking out seven.
Chad Jasman improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Battle Creek Bombers. Jasman struck out one, walked one and gave up one hit.
Alex Gunn couldn't get it done on the mound for the La Crosse Loggers, taking a loss. He allowed 10 runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked none and struck out three.
