The Willmar Stingers (32-24) and the Duluth Huskies (32-24) volleyed the lead five times on Friday, but the Willmar Stingers came out on top for a 7-6 win on Friday at Bill Taunton Stadium.

Mitch Rowan racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Willmar Stingers. He doubled in the first inning and homered in the fourth inning.

The Duluth Huskies had no answer for Jonathon Flinn, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Duluth Huskies managed just three hits off of the the Willmar Stingers' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

Treysen Vavra reached base three times in the game for the Duluth Huskies. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the second and fifth innings.

Dylan Thomas (3-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked three and struck out two.
