Ty Forney was cold coming off the bench, but Forney warmed up quickly as Forney stroked a key pinch-hit single in the three to lead the Eau Claire Express (19-35) to an 11-5 win over the Lakeshore Chinooks (26-28) on Friday at Carson Park.

Nick Addison racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Eau Claire Express. He homered in the third inning, singled in the third innings, and doubled in the seventh inning.

Drew Ghelfi got the win, running his season record to 1-4. He allowed one run over 4 2/3 innings. Ghelfi struck out six, walked five and gave up four hits.

Cody Glenn ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out two.
