The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters (22-30) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 4-3 to the La Crosse Loggers (35-17) on Sunday.

While the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters led until the eighth inning, the La Crosse Loggers worked their way back and took the lead on a two-run home run by Richard Prigatano.

Jimmy Bosco was solid at the plate for the La Crosse Loggers. Bosco went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the first inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Zach Wright got the win, running his season record to 3-0. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Seth Fuller ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
