The Thunder Bay Border Cats get on top of the Duluth Huskies early but can't hang on in 4-2 loss

The Thunder Bay Border Cats (21-29) built an early edge on Thursday, but the Duluth Huskies (30-20) roared back to steal a 4-2 victory at Wade Stadium.

A two-run double by Wade Wass gave the Duluth Huskies the lead in the seventh inning.

Wass racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Duluth Huskies. He homered in the second inning, singled in the fourth inning, and doubled in the seventh innings.

Max MacNabb got the win for the Duluth Huskies thanks to eight strikeouts. MacNabb allowed two earned runs, four hits and one walk over seven innings.

Adam Landecker racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Thunder Bay Border Cats. He homered in the first inning.

Woody Nisbet (2-3) took the loss for the Thunder Bay Border Cats. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
