Dakota Smith was cold coming off the bench, but Smith warmed up quickly as Smith stroked a key pinch-hit double in the six to lead the Rochester Honkers (21-28) to a 10-7 win over the Mankato MoonDogs (35-14) on Wednesday at Mayo Field.

With the Rochester Honkers trailing by three, Smith came to the plate and doubled, plating Jordan Parr.

Smith racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Rochester Honkers.

The Rochester Honkers found themselves down in the sixth inning but managed to fight back and claim the win.

Justin Parr racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Rochester Honkers. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Reid Roper got the win, running his season record to 2-1. Roper struck out one, walked none and gave up no hits.

Matt Marsh (1-1) took the loss for the Mankato MoonDogs. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
