Jason Hoppe kept the La Crosse Loggers (30-16) off the board during his 7 2/3 innings of work and the Lakeshore Chinooks (23-23) beat the La Crosse Loggers, 9-1.

Hoppe struck out five and allowed two walks and four hits.

Five runs in the first three innings helped the Lakeshore Chinooks blow out the La Crosse Loggers. An RBI single by Bre Kimbell during the first inning and an error, an RBI single by Charlie Markson, and a two-run home run by Forrest Chadwick in the second inning supplied the early offense for the Lakeshore Chinooks.

Chadwick had three extra-base hits for the Lakeshore Chinooks.

James Guillen couldn't get it done on the bump for the La Crosse Loggers, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
