An ace performance by Jon Reed lifted the Alexandria Beetles (20-27) to a 9-5 win over the Rochester Honkers (19-28) on Monday at Mayo Field.

Reed struck out 11 hitters en route to the the Alexandria Beetles win. Reed allowed two earned runs, two hits and no walks over eight innings.

Will Fulmer got a hit in each of his four at bats. He singled in the first, third, fifth, and sixth innings.

Jordan Parr racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Rochester Honkers. He homered in the ninth inning.

Jared Miller couldn't get it done on the mound for the Rochester Honkers, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked four and struck out two.

The Alexandria Beetles' Dylan Raper, Fulmer and Robert Case combined for nine hits and seven RBIs.
