The Eau Claire Express (15-30) had a tough outing on Sunday, as the Lakeshore Chinooks (22-23) dominated in a 9-2 win at Kapco Park.
An RBI single by Eric Aguilera and a three-run home run by German Reyes helped the Lakeshore Chinooks score four runs in the fourth. The Lakeshore Chinooks had three hits in the inning.
Brian Anderson racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Lakeshore Chinooks. He homered in the second inning, doubled in the third inning, and singled in the sixth innings.
Cody Glenn kept contact to a minimum, striking out seven the Eau Claire Express batters. Glenn allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk over seven innings.
Andrew Hedrick ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
