Suiter leads the Duluth Huskies to 11-4 win over the Alexandria Beetles

A great effort by Michael Suiter led the Duluth Huskies (25-19) to an 11-4 win over the Alexandria Beetles (17-27) on Friday at Wade Stadium.

Suiter blasted two home runs for the Duluth Huskies. Suiter went 3-5 in the game with four RBIs and three runs scored. Suiter homered in the second, fifth, and fifth innings.

The Alexandria Beetles had the lead early, but couldn't hold off the Duluth Huskies. The Alexandria Beetles were ahead until the fourth inning, but the Duluth Huskies would not be denied the win, taking the lead back on a sacrifice fly by Paul Karmeris.

Max MacNabb got the win, running his season record to 2-1. He allowed four runs over five innings. MacNabb struck out six, walked one and gave up seven hits.

Steve Weber couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Alexandria Beetles, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked three and struck out two.
