Wednesday was a great day for Nick Addison, as he clubbed two home runs to carry the Eau Claire Express (14-27) to an 8-3 victory over the Wisconsin Woodchucks (22-19) at Carson Park.

The Eau Claire Express scored four runs in the first inning to build an early lead.

Matt Trowbridge got the win for the Eau Claire Express thanks to eight strikeouts. Trowbridge allowed one earned run, two hits and four walks over six innings.

J.D. Davis racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Wisconsin Woodchucks. He homered in the eighth inning.

Austin Pettibone couldn't get it done on the hill for the Wisconsin Woodchucks, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed four runs.

The Eau Claire Express were sparked by Addison and Tim Zier, who teamed up for four hits and three RBIs.
