The Duluth Huskies (23-18) were never able to get over the hump and overcome their troubles against the Alexandria Beetles (16-25) on Tuesday, as the Duluth Huskies fell 8-6 at Wade Stadium after falling behind by seven runs in the third inning.
The Duluth Huskies scored on an RBI double by Jack English and an RBI single by James Ramsay in the third inning, an RBI single by Treyson Vavra and an RBI single by Max Duval in the eighth inning, and an RBI single by Ramsay and a sacrifice fly by Luke Campbell in the ninth inning. Still, the Duluth Huskies couldn't draw even.
Ben Moore racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Alexandria Beetles. He homered in the second inning and singled in the first and sixth innings.
