The St. Cloud Rox scored on a two-run single by Andy Henkemeyer in the fifth inning, a sacrifice fly by Mark Rhine in the sixth inning, and a two-run single by Nick Tanielu in the ninth inning. Still, the St. Cloud Rox couldn't catch the Duluth Huskies.
Luke Campbell had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the second and fifth innings.
The Duluth Huskies relied on Dylan Thomas to eat up innings en route to the win. Thomas allowed three earned runs, seven hits and two walks while striking out five over eight innings of work.
Tony Mollica (0-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked three, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
