The Duluth Huskies (22-17) and the St. Cloud Rox (12-27) each put runners in scoring position on Sunday, but the Duluth Huskies capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 6-5 win at Joe Faber Field.

The Duluth Huskies held off the St. Cloud Rox, as the St. Cloud Rox were unable to overcome a six-run fifth inning deficit.

The St. Cloud Rox scored on a two-run single by Andy Henkemeyer in the fifth inning, a sacrifice fly by Mark Rhine in the sixth inning, and a two-run single by Nick Tanielu in the ninth inning. Still, the St. Cloud Rox couldn't catch the Duluth Huskies.

Luke Campbell had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the second and fifth innings.

The Duluth Huskies relied on Dylan Thomas to eat up innings en route to the win. Thomas allowed three earned runs, seven hits and two walks while striking out five over eight innings of work.

Tony Mollica (0-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked three, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
