Mike Bernal collected three hits as the Wisconsin Woodchucks (19-18) took home a 9-5 victory over the Battle Creek Bombers (14-23) at Athletic Park on Friday.

Kyle Figgins racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Battle Creek Bombers. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the fourth inning.

Caleb Vincent looked sharp on the mound. Vincent held the Wisconsin Woodchucks hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Brendon Hayden improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Wisconsin Woodchucks. He allowed one run over four innings. Hayden struck out none, walked three and gave up two hits.

Kyle Teague (2-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed eight runs in four innings, walked three and struck out two.
