The Duluth Huskies (19-16) were never able to get over the hump and overcome their troubles against the Rochester Honkers (16-20) on Thursday, as the Duluth Huskies fell 6-4 at Wade Stadium after falling behind by four runs in the third inning.
The Duluth Huskies scored on a steal of home by Treyson Vavra in the fifth inning and an error in the sixth inning. Despite their efforts, the Duluth Huskies couldn't get over the hump.
Ty McDevitt racked up seven strikeouts in the the Rochester Honkers win. McDevitt allowed no earned runs, three hits and one walk over 4 2/3 innings.
Evan Geist was charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked two and struck out four.
