The Eau Claire Express (11-23) didn't stand a chance on Wednesday, as the Lakeshore Chinooks (17-18) captured a blowout 12-4 win at Carson Park.

The Lakeshore Chinooks scored five runs in the fifth on an RBI single by Scott Wilcox, a two-run double by Forrest Chadwick, and a two-run single by Charlie Markson.

The Eau Claire Express had the lead early, but couldn't hold off the Lakeshore Chinooks. The Eau Claire Express were ahead until the fifth inning, but the Lakeshore Chinooks would not be denied the win, taking the lead back on a two-run double by Chadwick.

Markson racked up four RBIs on five hits for the Lakeshore Chinooks.

Andrew Waszak recorded his second win of the year for the Lakeshore Chinooks. He allowed four runs over seven innings. He struck out four, walked one and surrendered seven hits.

Devin Moore ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked five and struck out two.
