The Duluth Huskies (19-14) built an early lead against the St. Cloud Rox (8-25), scoring three runs in the first inning, en route to a 4-3 win on Tuesday at Joe Faber Field.

The Duluth Huskies staved off the St. Cloud Rox as the St. Cloud Rox were unable to match the Duluth Huskies down the stretch.

The St. Cloud Rox scored on a sacrifice fly by Mark Rhine in the first inning and a two-run single by Phil Imholte in the fifth inning. Still, the St. Cloud Rox couldn't draw even.

Max Duval went a perfect 2-2 at the dish for the Duluth Huskies. He singled in the sixth inning and doubled in the eighth inning.

Dylan Thomas improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Duluth Huskies. He allowed three runs over 5 2/3 innings. Thomas struck out two, walked three and gave up five hits.

Billy Soule (0-2) took the loss for the St. Cloud Rox. He lasted just seven innings, walked three, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
