The Battle Creek Bombers (14-20) didn't have a chance on Tuesday, as the La Crosse Loggers (25-9) won in blowout fashion, 9-1 at C.O. Brown Stadium.

The La Crosse Loggers scored four runs in the third on a two-run double by Tyler Kuresa, an RBI single by Jimmy Bosco, and an RBI single by Boomer Collins.

Kuresa racked up two RBIs on two hits for the La Crosse Loggers.

James Guillen picked up the win for the La Crosse Loggers. Guillen pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, seven hits and one walk while striking out one.

Brian Valente (0-4) took the loss for the Battle Creek Bombers. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked none and struck out four.
